Creating Network Objects
Procedure
| Step 1 | Choose . |
| Step 2 | Choose Network from the list of object types. |
| Step 3 | Choose Add Object from the Add Network drop-down menu. |
| Step 4 | Enter a Name. In a multidomain deployment, object names must be unique within the domain hierarchy. The system may identify a conflict with the name of an object you cannot view in your current domain. |
| Step 5 | Optionally, enter a Description. |
| Step 6 | In the Network field, enter an IP address or address block to add to the object. |
| Step 7 | In the Network field, select the required option and enter an appropriate value; see Network Objects. |
| Step 8 | (FQDN objects only) Select the DNS resolution from the Lookup drop-down menu to determine whether you want the IPv4, IPv6, or both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses associated with the FQDN. |
| Step 9 | Manage overrides for the object:

| Step 10 | Click Save. |
