Requirements and prerequisites for FlexConfig policies

Before configuring and deploying FlexConfig policies in Cloud-Delivered Firewall Management Center, ensure you meet these requirements.

  • You must have these user privileges to configure and deploy FlexConfig policies:

    • Admin, Super Admin, and Edit Only privilages allow you to modify FlexConfig policies.

    • Admin, Super Admin, and Deploy Only privilages allow you to deploy queued FlexConfig policy changes.

    • If you have Edit Only privilages, you need deployment permissions to deploy your changes.

  • FlexConfig policy is applicable to Firewall Threat Defense devices.
