Create and edit Firepower service objects

To create a firepower service object, follow these steps:

Firewall Device Manager (FDM-managed) service objects are reusable components that specify a TCP/IP protocol and a port. The Firewall Device Manager, On-Premises Firewall Management Center and Cloud-Delivered Firewall Management Center refer to these objects as "Port Objects."

Procedure

Step 1	From the Security Cloud Control Home page, click Firewall.
Step 2	In the left pane, click Objects.
Step 3	Click > FTD > Service.
Step 4	Enter an object name and description.
Step 5	Select Create a service object.
Step 6	Click the Service Type button and select the protocol for which you want to create an object.
Step 7	Configure the protocol as follows: TCP, UDP Select eq and then enter either a port number or a protocol name. For example, you could enter 80 as a port number or HTTP as the protocol name. You can also select range and then enter a range of port numbers, for example, 1 65535 (to cover all ports). ICMP, IPv6-ICMP-Select the ICMP Type. Select Any for the type to apply to all ICMP messages. Step 8	Click Add.
Step 9	Review and deploy the changes you made now, or wait and deploy multiple changes at once.
