Requirements and prerequisites for service policies

Assign an access control policy to each target device before you add or edit service-policy rules.

Create an extended access control list (ACL) for each traffic class. Include Allow rules for the connections that should receive the service.

For interface-based rules, configure the interfaces on the target devices and add them to security zones or interface groups.
