Add custom attributes to your group policy

Add custom attributes to a group policy to enable their use with remote access VPN connections. You can assign advanced VPN features to users based on their group policy membership.

To use Secure Client custom attributes with remote access VPN connections, you must associate them with the appropriate group policy. This enables you to offer advanced VPN customization to users based on their group policy membership.

Procedure


Step 1

Select Objects > VPN > Group Policy.

Step 2

Add a new group policy or edit an existing group policy.

Step 3

Click Secure Client > Custom Attributes.

Step 4

Click Add.

Step 5

Select the Secure Client Attribute: Per App VPN, Allow Defer Update, or Dynamic Split Tunneling.

Step 6

Select a Custom Attribute Object from the list.

Note

Click Add (+) to create a new custom attribute object for the selected Secure Client attribute. You can also create a custom attribute object at Objects > VPN > Custom Attribute. See Configure custom attributes for Secure Client.

Step 7

Click Add to save the attributes to the group policy, and then click Save to save the changes to the group policy.
