Create a geolocation object

Create a geolocation object to define groups of countries and continents for use in security policies.

Use geolocation objects in access control and policy rules to manage network traffic based on geographic criteria.

Procedure

Step 1

Choose Objects.

Step 2

Choose Geolocation from the list of object types.

Step 3

Click Add Geolocation.

Step 4

Enter a Name.

Step 5

Select the countries and/or continents to include.

  • Selecting a continent includes all countries within that continent, including future additions via GeoDB updates.

  • You can select any combination of countries and continents.

Step 6

Click Save.

What to do next

  • If an active policy references your object, deploy configuration changes.
