Edit an interface

Edit interface configurations on Firepower 1000,Secure Firewall 1200, Firepower 2100, and Secure Firewall 3100 Firewall Threat Defense devices using device templates.

You can edit an interface in the same way as you do on the Cloud-Delivered Firewall Management Center without using the template. Use template variables to set up the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. The device template supports the configurations that are supported on Firepower 1000,Secure Firewall 1200, Firepower 2100, and Secure Firewall 3100 Firewall Threat Defense devices.

Procedure

Step 1

Choose Devices > Template Management.

Step 2

Click the Edit ( edit icon ) icon of the template in which you want to edit the physical interface.

Step 3

In the Interfaces tab, click the Edit icon for the interface that you want to edit.

Step 4

In the Edit Physical Interface window, you can edit any of the following settings:

General
PoE
IPv4
IPv6
Path Monitoring
Hardware Configuration
Manager Access
Advanced

Note	Use variables to configure IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. For more information on templatizing variables, see Configure Template Parameters.
