Reapply a template

Reapply a template to synchronize the device configuration with the template configuration when changes result in an out-of-sync state.

If you make any changes to the device or template that results in the configuration being out-of-sync, you can reapply the template to make the configuration in sync with the template.

Follow these steps to reapply a template on a device:

Procedure

Step 1

Choose Devices > Template Management.

Step 2

Click the Edit (edit icon) icon of the template that you want to reapply to a device.

Step 3

Click Associated Devices.

Step 4

In the Associated Devices window, click Reapply Template for the device on which you want to reapply the template.

Note

If you want to reapply the template on all the associated devices in the template, click Bulk Reapply and click Confirm.

Step 5

On the Reapply template window, you can reuse the autopopulated Variables and Network object overrides values or enter new values.

Step 6

Click Confirm to initiate reapplication of the template on the device.
