Configure EIGRP routing on firewall devices

Enable EIGRP on a firewall device for efficient routing within an autonomous system.

Procedure

Step 1

Choose Devices > Device Management, and edit the Firewall Threat Defense device.

Step 2

Click the Routing tab.

Step 3

Under Global, click EIGRP.

Step 4

Check the Enable EIGRP check box to enable the EIGRP routing process.

Step 5

In the AS Number field, enter the autonomous system (AS) number for the EIGRP process.

Valid values are from 1 to 65535. The AS number identifies the local EIGRP routing domain and must match on EIGRP neighbors.

The firewall device is now configured with the base EIGRP process and the designated AS number. It can participate in EIGRP routing after the required interfaces, networks, and related settings are configured.
