Chassis interface configuration

A chassis interface is a physical network interface that

  • enables connection to the firewall’s internal and external networks,

  • supports configuration of basic Ethernet settings, VLAN subinterfaces, and EtherChannel grouping, and

  • defaults to a disabled state until explicitly enabled by an administrator.
