Chassis interface configuration
A chassis interface is a physical network interface that

enables connection to the firewall’s internal and external networks,
-
supports configuration of basic Ethernet settings, VLAN subinterfaces, and EtherChannel grouping, and

defaults to a disabled state until explicitly enabled by an administrator.
